Feminist Bible Study

Student Christian Movement Ryerson Chapter will be launching a Feminist Bible Study Series on Monday late afternoons in March and April. Come explore the bible through this unique lens. Readings explored include Bible versus as well as writings of Bell Hooks's 'All About Love', Omega Bula's 'Threats to Womens Rights and Dignity', Dori Grinenko Baker's 'Doing Girlfriend Theology', Alice Walker's 'In Search of Our Mother's Gardens:Womanist Prose', Maya Angelou, Julia Serano's 'Whipping Girl:A Transexual Woman on Sexism and the Scapegoating of Femininity', and Eleanor Roosevelt.
