With hundreds of events and campaigns throughout the year, we depend on volunteers to build a strong campus community. Volunteering with the RSU gives you an opportunity to get involved on campus, build and share new skills, make connections with other students, and be a part of the broader student movement.
There are a lot of ways to get involved, including joining a committee, Equity Service Centre, or helping out at our events. Volunteering is flexible with your schedule and it’s totally up to you how many hours you want to commit. Below is a list of current volunteering opportunities. Contact the person below the description to join the committee or find out more!
If you are interested in a whole range of work undertaken by the Students’ Union, consider becoming a general volunteer. General volunteers are students that aren’t interested in a particular committee but want to build up volunteer hours with the RSU. This can take on the form of helping with outreach and promotions, general office work, or helping with set-up and take down of events.
