Help us collect food and raise voices this Halloween! Did you know that 1.7 million Canadian households experience food insecurity? That means that 4 million individuals, including 1.15 million children do not have access to adequate, nutritious and affordable food. To help address this, we're participating in Trick or Eat - where we'll be raising voices and collecting food and funds. Our collected donations will be split between the Ryerson Students' Union Good Food Centre (GFC), the Regent Park Community Food Centre and Meal Exchange. All donated food will be going to the GFC while monetary donations will be going to the Regent Park CFC and Meal Exchange. This campaign is part of the Students for Good Food For All project at Ryerson. Meal Exchange is a national youth-led charity that works with students to alleviate hunger and achieve food security.
Every holiday season, students are choosing between food, rent and tuition fees. All donations support the Good Food Centre/Your campus food bank. Connect with us at email@example.com if you are interested in donating or hosting a fundraiser.
