Every year in March, the Vice-President of Finance & Services organizes and hosts a series of free tax clinics for students. The clinic is run by professionally trained students that will help process your personal income tax returns FREE of charge however the RSU encourages users of the tax clinic to bring a non-perishable item for the Community Food Room. Revenue Canada experts will also be on hand to help answer your questions.

The tax clinic is operated by student for students. As a student volunteer you will receive training from the Canada Revenue Agency and be asked to volunteer for a minimum of one 3-4 hour shift during the week of the clinic. If you are interested in volunteering check back in January to find out more info and details.

Bursaries are available for Ryerson Students' Union Members' (full-time undergraduate and all graduate students) in financial need with satisfactory academic performance. The RSU's bursary is awarded once a year the value is $500.

The RSU bursary deadline is at the beginning of November for each year. Applications will be processed and bursaries will be awarded in January.

Pick up condoms from the RSU's main office, SCC311. The condoms are supplied free to our members in recognition of the need for safer sex!

The Hassle Free Clinic provides free medical and counselling services in many areas of sexual health. The Clinic has separate hours and phone numbers for women and men. Trans women, trans men, two-spirit people and people of trans experiences are welcome at both the women’s and the men’s clinic.
