NOTE: Caitlin is the first woman to hold this position in the Ryerson Students' Union. 

Caitlin Smith is a Journalism graduate who has served two years on the Ryerson Students' Union (RSU) Board of Directors prior to being elected as your Vice-President Finance and Services. She has been involved with nearly every RSU campaign for the last two years and was a key organizer for the Drop Fees and Poverty-Free Ontario coalitions at Ryerson to fight for more affordable and accessible post-secondary education.

Through her capacity as an Faculty of Communication and Design director, she established the Student Market to encourage student activity and entrepreneurship. She was also involved in creating student art space at the Oakham Café among other student initiative projects.

Caitlin's experience in all three pillars of the Ryerson Students' Union will give her the knowledge and tools to better serve students this upcoming year. She has many ideas and goals for the services that are offered to members and encourages you to stop by anytime!

Along with responsiblities for RSU services, this Vice-President also sits on and chairs the by-laws committee and the RSU bursary committee.
