COURSE UNIONS

Course Unions enable members to organize events and activities at the departmental or program level.

As a member of the Ryerson Students' Union, you are automatically a member of the course union of the program in which you are enrolled. For example, if you are enrolled in the nursing program, you are automatically a member of the Nursing Course Union.

Your Course Union is run by elected students in your program who represent your interests by organizing a variety of social and program related events. In addition to advocating on program specific issues and acting as a liaison between students and program administrators, some set up services including exam banks and newsletters. Your Course Union may even partner with other Course Unions to create bigger and better events.

Course Unions are funded by the Ryerson Students' Union and fund raising activities. Each course union has an elected executive that plans and coordinates activities.

STUDENT GROUPS

Clubs and cultural groups at Ryerson offer many things to many students. From pubs and parties to talent contests, sports tournaments, peer support, guest lectures, and so much more!

There are currently more than 60 clubs and groups operating on campus.

Student groups are the vehicle that allows members to organize themselves into general interest and cultural clubs. Groups cater to specific interests and allow students outlets for creative energy and spare time.
