2017 RSU Tax Clinic

Need help completing your tax return? Book an appointment at the RSU tax clinic and let us do it for FREE!

The tax clinic is open to all Ryerson students in partnership with the Canada Revenue Agency (CRA) and Certified General Accountants of Ontario (CGAO). A team of trained student volunteers will help prepare your tax return and file it to the CRA on your behalf.

Documents required:

  • T2202A - Tuition, Education, and Textbook Amounts Certificate (Accessible on RAMSS)
  • Interest Paid on Student Loans (if applicable, accessible from NSLSC)
  • T4 - Employment income (if applicable, all employers should have released these by now)
  • T4A - Pensions & other Income (if applicable, what a students' Grants, Bursaries, Scholarships, RESP payments would be listed on)
  • Rent (if applicable)
  • Transit (TTC: can only claim Metropasses, the metropass itself is the receipt, PRESTO: requires usage report)
